Intro : First kisses, foolproof ways to score the perfect guy, propositions from fans… GF gave Jess and Lisa a bunch of prying questions and asked them to spill the beans on all things love and lust !
You may have heard about the recent radio prank that saw Lisa caught in Top 30 host Lowie’s hotel bed with a post ARIAS hangover… well, GF spoke to the Veronicas the day right after it happened! Needless to say, after such an invasion of privacy, Lisa was a little shaken so it probably wasn’t the best time to get the chicks answer personal questions about their love lives, but the Vs kindly went along with our game and interviewed each other anyway! No wonder why we love them so much!
ROUND 1Lisa’s in the hot seat… Jess: Tell us about your last kiss
Lisa: Ha! Um, I can’t remember it…
J: Were you drunk?
L: No! My last kiss was very sweet.
J: Um; more details please!
L: I think that’s as far as I’m going to go with that one…
J: Have you ever replied to propositions from fans, and would you ever?
L: No, never! I’ve never actually had a fan come up to me with anything like that… I think they’re too scared, maybe a little intimidated. But I get the extremes, like when they ask me to marry them. In fact, I think I’m indirectly engaged with quite a few people right now…
J: What’s the best way to get a man’s heart?
L: I think if you sing him a song, they’re usually suckers for that.
J: You’ve used that a few times obviously… which song?
L: I think if you write him a new song, you’re pretty much guaranteed to win him over. Just be charming… and if it doesn’t work out with that guy, just change the name and sing it to the next guy! Why waste a perfectly good song?
J: Would you date a guy who danced better than you?
L: Um, yeah! I’m not a very good dancer, so that would cancel out a lot of guys!
J: But what if he moon-walked?
L: Well, that would be the coolest, coz I love Michael Jackson. If he could do the moonwalk, it would probably be the most impressive thing to me.
J: What’s your favourite song to get in the mood?
L: Get in the mood for what?
J: A romantic mood?
L: Oh! Um, “Psycho Chicken” by the Fools? I don’t know, maybe John Farnham’s “Burn For You”, you know, something along those lines, something really super sweet.
ROUND 2Jess answers the tough questions…Lisa: What’s the worst surprise you’ve ever received from a guy?
Jess: Any surprise is sweet, right? Even if you get a half-dead bunch of flowers, you just think, ‘Oh, how sweet that they even bothered to go to the effort…’
L: What happens if it’s, like, Valentine’s Day and your boyfriend doesn’t give you anything?
J: It’s not a big deal to me, I’m not one of those girls that need to be given presents every couple of seconds… like you, Lisa!
L: Tell us about your first kiss.
J: It was with a boy in Grade 7. We were at a party and we didn’t even want to kiss each other, it was just that all our friends were like, ‘Go kiss! Go kiss!’, and they pushed us into this room. He had braces and he was very cute and sweet, but he was nervous coz he didn’t know to kiss, so he just kinda bit my face.
L: Ooh, braces! That can be pretty painful.
J: Yeah, it was kinda just a clash of lips and metal, and I was like, ‘Ow, that hurt!’ I don’t really wanna do that again anytime soon…
L: If the world was ending in minutes, but you somehow scored the magical power to transport yourself anywhere in the world, who would you choose to spend your last few moments with? (PS: It can’t be your family, friends or boyfriend, coz they’re all imprisoned in a high-security fortress)
J: Whoa, that’s a pretty messed-up situation! I guess I’d pick up Johnny Depp and I’d probably transport ourselves to that deserted beach that he and Keira Knightley were on in Pirates of the Caribbean. I’d also probably take a bunch of food and have my fast kiss with him after eating a nice meal.
L: You need to get your boyfriend a present, but you’re broke… as usual. What do you do?
J: I think the nicest thing to do for someone, whether you’re broke or not, is to make them something, coz everyone love to receive something personal from the heart. Otherwise you could go on a picnic… Wait, ‘broke’, does that mean no money at all?
L: Yeah, that’s like ZERO dollars…
J: Zero, as in you can’t afford one single thing, you can’t even drive somewhere?
L: Well, let’s say your petrol tank is still half full…
J: Okay, so you could either drive somewhere nice and sit and talk, or you could write a poem, or even something that just rhymes if you’re not so poetic… all you need is a piece of paper and a pen. Be creative.
L: Nice, I mean, if a guy doesn’t like something personal that you’ve created just for him then he’s a wanker!
J: Yeah, that would be rude! It’s the thought that counts. I’ve got this necklace with an “M” on it that my friend made for me one year when I didn’t have a date for Valentine’s Day…
L: But you had a crush on him, right?
J: Um, yeah… Actually, I was in love with him, but the point is w made these things for each other. He gave me one with an “M” on it for his name, and I gave him one with a “J” on it, and they cost like 50 cents and they’ve lasted forever!
